Here are some of the pictures from the going away party my friends threw for me.
We had about 22 people show up so it was a great turn out! All of these
pictures are from Miyake's which is a sushi bar in Palo Alto. It is a really cool place
where the waiters will drink with you and everyone stands on their chairs to do Sake-Bombs!
For those of you who are Sake-Bomb impaired, sake is a rice wine. You get a glass of beer
and a shot of sake and you drop the shot in the beer and then chug the beer. After a few
they can really knock you on your ass.
After Miyake's I have no recollection of what happened and there are no pictures (thank
God). I was informed that the group ended up at the Blue Chalk (a pool bar) and somehow
we misplaced Karen and Curt. Everyone ended up fairly toasted and safe at the end of the
evening and I didn't end up getting sick (so my sources tell me) so I would have to say
the evening was a success! Thanks everyone for the great send off!
