These are some photos from a recent trip to Magic Mountain. My X (x-roommate that is) and our friends Shannon and Renee made the trip up the 5 freeway for a day of roller coaster fun! If you have never been, this park has some of the best roller coasters around. Favorites of mine are the Viper which goes upside down 7 times I believe, Batman which is short but so smooth and so much fun, and Superman which is awesome and can be heard around the park (sounds like a jumbo jet taking off). Magic Mountain just added the Riddler but it wasn't open when we went. :-(

I am helping Shannon fly outside of the Superman ride. This was a big moment for Shannon. She wasn't really into going on Superman, actually she was dead set against it. After a little convincing (hehe) we got her to go on and she loved it! What's not to love about shooting straight out on a car that reaches 100 MPH in 7 seconds, taking a 90 degree turn straight up and rising 42 stories into the sky before you free fall back down to earth?
