Photos from Washington D.C.

Rachel, my good friend from freshman year of college, was getting married in Washington D.C. over the 4th of July weekend.  I know it is a long way to go for a wedding, but this was one that I couldn't miss for the world.  You see, back in the day, Rachel and I made a $50 bet on who would get married first.  I bet that she would and she did the opposite. Since her wedding sealed my victory, I had to attend and remind her who fell first. :-)

Rachel and Richard Wilkie had their wedding on July 3, 1999 near their home in Alexandria, VA. Rachel and her parents are big Trojan fans and even worked in a "Fight On" into the wedding program at the church.

Meeting me out in D.C. was another college buddy Dr. Liz who came out from Chicago and Andrea who came down from New York.  We all had a great time sightseeing around the city, going to the wedding and checking out the fireworks at the Washington Memorial. Here are a few pictures from my trip.
